Myself along with 7 of my buddies had a halibut trip with westport charters yesterday. Everything seemed fine a little windy thats all, after about 2 hours the skipper decided to make a U-turn and head back to the marina swells at the dropoff were up to 8 to 10 feet and I guess at full speed we were going only 7 knots. It started looking really ugly when we turned back. I just wanted to thank the Capt. Steve Westerick of the hula girl for looking out for everybodys safety. I could only imagine how much $$ on gas was wasted I guess there is always next year!
