Dont bet on the hope that science will prevail. I believe it is fair to ask why the legal decision was not challenged before, recognize that the decision is still on the books, and what we are hearing from in this newest communication is simply low level bureaucrat wonks who follow the political winds of the day.

as soon as the election is over, they will go right back to ignoring all reason and science.

This whole thing smacks of a vote getting strategy by the current administration and nothing else. There was no mention of repealing the prior decision, and the timing for these followup studies conveniently happens AFTER the vote.

Frankly, Im more concerned than before -- time to keep your eyes and ears WIDE open.
