I know the crowds suck and the roads are crowded. Let's stop and pause a moment this weeekend as we are enjoying ourselves to give thanks to those who sacrificed their lives to ensure our right to live in a country where we can freely complain about the state of the fishing (and everything else). A country where we affect change through political and social action, not terrorism and violence.

Ans I want to thank my father, Sgt. D.L. Price, who served his country in world war II and beyond. Who sacrificed and did his duty in the "big red one". All the way from Omaha beach through the Rhineland. May he rest in peace.

He passed on his love of fishing and family to me. I hope he's got one on right now.
