Jerry:

I'm thinking of picking up one of these to for the summer. Last year a buddy of mine purchased a brand new Tekota for B-10 and I used it a couple times and was impressed with it's line capacity, silky smooth drag, and durability.

The only negative thing about the reel was we could never get the drag tight enough to stop the line from slowly (click.......click........click) coming of the reel while trolling the divers in the strong Columbia currents, but hey when you got a fish on every 10 minutes what does that matter  .

Also played around with the reel at the shimano booth during the sportsmen show and was impressed with the dealers sales pitch. The pitch was that it was more versatile then the Shimano Tritons but didn't break the bank like the Calcutta TE. The new Tekota and Talora rod combo is a B-10 match made in heaven.
