Read in Saturday's fishing report in the TNT that sockeye from the Lake Washington hatchery might be released just south a little ways into the Green river system. Anyone know how accurate this information is and the benefits expected? I don't see a game fish andvantage as these fish are not notorious biters once they enter a river. I also see a conflict with spawning chinook and adding to the problem of non-native atlantics competing for food.

Another dumb idea? or beneficial?
