I have the same set up as you do wabowhunter. I have been fishing Redondo with it for four years now. Sometimes I fish alone sometimes I have a fishing buddy. Usually, when fishing in the afternoon, I am by myself. I just happen to have the girlfriend with me this last time. Landing a 20# king is a little bit more fun when you are by yourself though. After two or three big fish you learn how to use the net in one hand and rod in the other hand.
