Good morning, Lord. This is the day you have made and it is also Drews’ surgery day. Lord, we are helpless to do for Drew what only you can do. Who can we turn to but you for all that he needs? We humbly ask for your hand of protection upon him today and the healing touch that only you can provide.
Lord, we thank you for how you have touched our hearts through this young man and his loving family. Please bless each one of them today and grant them your strength, courage and peace, so they will also know that you are near as they go through this difficult time together.
Lord, we thank you for the gifted doctors and care givers that will attend Drew today. Please bless them too and give them steady hands, clear minds and the wisdom to do your will.
Lord, we praise you because it is not only your will to heal but also to restore us to abundant life with you forever.
Lord, as you heal Drews’ heart today, graciously heal ours as well. Help us to bring our weak, defective, wounded, selfish and hardened hearts to you in exchange for your true, pure and loving heart, that we would be made fit to serve you and share your great love with others while we still can. To you be all honor and glory this day.
