If you have a boat a good place to try for the Nisqually Kings is right off the mouth in the what is known as Nisqually reach.

Most people fish near the green bouy there. There is usually a strong current running through there so you want to drift in whatever direction it is going. A popular technique is to mooch and jig fish with either Point Wilson darts or Buzz Bombs. I would recommend against herring as the mud sharks will find them faster than any Salmon would...Good Luck!!
