Kerry at least knows where the trigger is on a .50 cal. as well as what bullets whizzing by your head sound like. He also knows what it means to go back and save someone's life, as opposed to being AWOL so you can build a political career.

Kerry volunteered for the navy, volunteered for Vietnam, and volunteered for his duty. This while Bush was pulling strings to leap ahead of others to get into the National Guard so that he wouldn't have to serve.

I don't care for either of them much, but dissing Kerry's military credentials is dishonest and dishonorable, as Senator John McCain, REPUBLICAN, said yesterday.

If Bush was the man of honor that he claims to be, he would have the decency to respect Kerry's service as much as any other veteran's.
