We worked Neah Bay on Monday and Tuesday and had a great time. Due to the incredibly calm weather I was able to go past Tatoosh and get into some really large silvers and a few kings. At one point we were just having fun watching all of the big silvers chase our darts right under the boat. A lot of guys I talked too said the wild/hatchery ratio was around 4:1 but we thought it was closer to 2:1. We had a harder time catching decent sized Kings though. We caught a 25 and a 15 and quite a few 5 lb Blackmouth. Did see one at the cleaning table that likely went 35 to 40 and it was very bright.

But the silvers... They are so big this year. Did not get to go down the coast for bottomfish as the fog was just too thick and we were new to the area out there. All in all though an awesome trip! Just wish I had not left the fly rod at home as it would have been easy pickings.

Did pick up a 18 lb King off the Slag Pile this morning. Fish was starting to get a little dark but will be great on the BBQ.
