I talked with an MP yesterday and asked the same question: Why do you care if people fish? He went on to tell me that the reason for all of the checks and whatnot has to do with the fact that lots of people are "not fishing." In the past 10 years they've busted meth labs, found dead bodies, and made countless drug busts in that area..... Could have something to do with 9/11 but it seemed to be the same way back before 9/11..... Just get a pass and call it good.
