Duramax is a 100% Acrylic Latex paint, and it is sold by Lowes. Rather than buy expensive marine paint for a boat that lives on the trailer and is only in the water 6-12 hrs. at a time, using a high gloos, 100% acrylic latex paint is about 20% the cost and gets the same quality, long lasting finish....(or so I am told by old time boat builders). I can tell you the stuff dries real hard, and is supposed to be one of the most durable paints on the market, designed for porches, decks, etc.
