I drove a GMC Sierra crew cab pickup today with the Duramx Diesel/Allison powertrain. The inside sold me with all the goodies like DVD player, Bose stereo, XM satellite radio and OnStar, leather...on and on and on....

This is a reprised topic.....I know a few folks with the Dodge Cummins diesel and I like those but am still partial to the GMC....

Any constructive thoughts? I would prefer to listen to those who actually have one than those who are set on something they drive that they are already in love with. I drive a
Suburban now...3/4 ton with the 454ci gas engine. Gas mileage is the main reason I would change to the diesel.
