Beginning October 15 through October 31st, the Aberdeen High School Renaissance program will be sponsoring a salmon fishing derby. If you are an avid or even amateur angler and would like a chance at winning some fantastic prizes like fishing rods, reels, and tackle, please stop by Failor’s Sporting Goods or the Aberdeen High School office and purchase a ticket for just $5. There will be a 1st and 2nd prize for the largest King and Silver caught in Grays Harbor county. Dressed fish can be weighed at Failor’s Sporting Goods during regular business hours and on Sunday from 3 to 7pm. All proceeds go to the Renaissance program to so that it can continue to recognize, reward, and reinforce the good things that happen at AHS.
