If you're using siwash, off-set the eye of the hook for removal, slip the hooch over the bottom of the spinner and re-attach the hook (hook-eye inside the hoochie).

If you're using trebs, clip through the eye of the treb down by the shank with a pair of dikes, off-set the eye with a pair of needle nose plyers for removal, slip on the hooch over the hook and re-attach by closing the gap in the eye (hook-eye outside the hoochie). It seems like this would weeken the hook but I've never had one open up on me. \:\)
