Wanted to try West Point on Friday, but after we launched from Don Armeni Fog was so thick we fished Elliot Bay. My Brother got a 8 pound keeper right off by the ramp, but I proceeded to lose 2 and only manage to get one legal to the boat which we lost trying to net it.

Fished hootchies and spin-n-glos and seemed to get bites from the launch to east channel. Fished in around 200 ft of water on DRs with the cables out from 95' to 135'. Lots of Sea Lions on the Barge bouys and had 1 harbor seal start following us around.

Did see some chum porpoising out in front of Todd Shipyard and there appeared to be alot of bait on the fishfinder. (The 8 pounder had a 6 inch herring in its belly).

All in all it wasn't a bad first trip going after Blackmouth.
