Fished the Cowlitz on Friday and the Kalama on Saturday. We got one nice native on the Cowlitz and nothing else. Did not see many fish caught. The river was in good condition

Fished the Kalama on Saturday. No fish, but did run into a group of guys who got into four fish about 1130 near the first hatchery. I didn't see anyone else with a fish. I have to admit that we didn't get much time on the Kalama that day. The river was in great shape.

I think I am going to concentrate on the blackmouth after I get back from the holdiays.
After seeing the post on Canada I may just take the boat to Sooke and make good use of my year long Canadain license.
