My uncle is a logger and has seen a great decrease in income over the years. he weather dictates the most, too sunny-fires, too rainy- can't log. It is a physically dangerous and trying job. He is also the first one to discuss the threats to our land by clear cutting. But, he doesn't make the decisions. He goes to work when there is work and fought the fires when there were no firefighters (BC). If his work was stopped due to a rally, I would expect him to be paid for the loss. If they believe in the cause so much then they can be educated enough to target the people making the choice to clear cut, not the workers. o next time they or you want to stop a logger from logging, go buy them dinner and hear their side.
