I think they both come across as in it for themsleves. I have never heard anyone from either ones extended family say , Al or John or even Clinton really wants to serve the people . GW senior and Barbara Bush have said since before the last election that they taught their kids that with their positon in life comes great resposibility to sreve the public. President Bush comes across to some as arrogant. I see it as he is not concerned with public opinion as much as he is with doing what he sees a right. Clinton was the opposite he based every decision of what the polls said. So we are seeing an extreme swing.
