Gad, I love to hear the gnashing and wailing of the GOP and the Right over this subject. Let's take a trip in the wayback machine. Shortly after we invaded Iraq (Mar. 2003), a poll was taken that showed about 65% of the American people thought that Sadaam had a role in 9/11. Now, I do not remember anyone in the Administration stating that as a fact, however, they certainly left the impression that Sadaam was involved. And I certainly did not hear the right wing going out of their way to correct that mistaken impression. Now, that an (admittedly biased) headline comes out, you would think that the Earth has spun off its axis. Ain't payback a b!tch!!
