Just finished a report on another political post for Ed....

Anyway fishing was great...catching was slow. We had somewhere around 50 fish to the boat with 99% of the Coho being native. Only one decent king at 25# or so which we kept. We released all but one silver that was really good sized and was a clipped fish. The charters were going after the silvers in close. A friend of a friend got a 55# king in deep water on Saturday. Man the kings are hard to find. Weather was severe Friday when we arrived but calmed down and got nice and sunny and hot Saturday about mid day and stayed that way with calming ocean conditions. Wish I could have stayed down there all week. We experimented with some spoons I am testing for a manufacturer with good luck but herring was hands down the preferred bait. Most of the hardware, plugs and spoons were ice cold.
