I'm not disputing that involvement in the OFF by particular countries may be a reason they might not have wanted to participate in the war. Of course, relatively speaking, the money they gained from the OFF is pretty small.

Ya see, that's the thing about truly loving America and defending the democracy we enjoy. I choose to exercise my First Amendment right when I see something I think is wrong and want corrected. Blindfolding yourself with patriotic fervor leads to a contemptuous government that manifests itself into a fascist regime where everyone must "stay on message" and there's no room for dissent.

So in reality, if you don't approve of your fellow citizens demanding a transparent government and the ability to voice dissent free of reprisal, then I believe you should leave and find an autocracy with a demogogue.
