HUSUS has been after bow hunters for a long time. They use a wounding study done some time ago as thier primary tool to show it as a cruel and inhumane activity. They also think that the BIG TENT will not form where all hunters come together to defend hunting as one. The only exceptions I have seen are DU and the RMEF exlusions to support all hunting.
