By far the most extremely difficult and rewarding trip I've made into the Olympic interior. Looking on the map, it doesn't look like much until you start seeing the elevation changes, which amount to really climbing three passes over five thousand feet. Cameron Pass in particular was the hardest climb I think I've ever done....over twelve hundred feet in .9 mile.

It was four solid days of hiking, somewhere in the neighborhood of 38 to 40 miles.
