Why do people who fish for salmon with Corkies and yarn pretty much ALWAYS have to say "it was in the mouth" when they talk about their catch?

You don't ever see bait or hardware fishermen qualify their catch that way?

Do ya think they know somethin' that they're just not lettin' on about?
