run_a_bait...The pinks are "in" the area. However, the hatchery has opened up the gate to allow them into the complex. Now the fish are not stacking up like before. Afternoon incoming tide seems to be better at the mouth of Finch Creek. The humpies are a little scattered (along the shoreline from Lilliwaup to "Chumville")right now due to the minus tides.
I've heard from a friend that there was a 25lb chinook caught up by Ayock. So, they're just now starting to show.

MaribuMonkey... Yeah, the light line is mainly to get the smaller lures cast out there. We mainly hooked them4-5ft below the surface, using 1/8oz jigs, small spinners, and pixee spoons with the pink or green insert. The largest producer for me was the jig followed closely by a size 3 vibrax. We saw a few of the guys on shore hooking up on the fly gear and corkie/yarn, but the guys swiming jigs saw more action. ;\)
