If you are coming in August, the skokomish will be open for one king. Its a bit of a drive, but not too far, maybe a half hour or so. Probably not much in it till the middle of the month I would think. Others would know more. Hoodsport has pinks and kings, depending on the time span. Its not too far either, about 15 minutes further. Both of these will be crowded beyond belief though, so you might get out a map and consider running up to the wynochee for summer steelhead one day.
