I have fished with braids in the past, I tried spider-line on my Stradic years ago when it was new to the market, think it was sort of a brown colored line, it worked ok I remember it was really nice to mend as it floated. Also tried the Fireline but that was on a baitcaster. As to knots most use the Polomor...right? I just thought in all the years I've been fishing mono some advancements in braided line must have passed me by.......
