Eric Clapton is a fine guitarist,but his early work is far more gutsy than some of his later middle of the road recordings. I would give a nod to Jeff Beck as far as a live show. Hell I'll go see anyone though.


I've seen both live and actually Jeff Beck was one of the best guitar performances I'd ever seen. That was a long time ago though.
