Watched a fantastic sunset tonight on a Seattle area beach while throwing poppers around the tide change and into darkness...one rise from a small fish, saw a couple jumping but very little bait activity and it didnt feel like the fish were in...back out to try again tonight as I have to pay my dues on fly type, retrieves, leader lengths etc...cant wait to hook up my first saltwater popper fish and think it will happen this week...cheers.
