Sodfarmer get in touch with me before doing your bou hunt. I did a really cool one with an outfitted drop camp on the peninsula (N. of Lk Illiamna). Very cool.
We were in the field for 6 days and saw well over a thousand bou and plenty of other wildlife. We were also lucky to be near a stream with lots of fish and plenty of ptarmigan.
The outfitter just dropped us off out in the middle of nowhere with all provisions and flew over every other day to pick up meat.
