According to the elected 'leader' of our country;

1.) We went in there because Saddam was still making efforts to further their WMD programs. We couldn't just invade, we needed an excuse.

Doesn't anyone still remember Colin Powell in front of the U.N. with pictures of Penske rental trucks that were supposedly mobile chemical weapon labs??? We had to get U.N. approval to invade...

Once we did invade, all of our 'intelligence' turned out to be crap, no WMD's, nothing. Ok, we finally found a handful of shells that still had nerve gas in them that were obviously left over from 20 years prior...but, we didn't find anything that we said was there to obtain permission to go in. Period.

2.) All of the sudden we stop hearing the Bush spout off about the WMD's, it's all about 'freeing a country from tyranny'. ALL of the propoganda is about 'spreading Democracy' and 'liberating an oppressed nation'...

3.) Now we are there to 'stabilize' the region that we 'unstabilized'...

Are we there for the oil? It sure isn't helping my diesel prices...but that's a whole other story in itself.

Don't be sheep, people. You've been lied to so many times in the last 6 years you're getting numb to it.

Have other administration's lied to you? Yep, everyone of them. But it's been a long while since thousands of our sons, daughters, uncles, etc. had to die (and tens of thousands more became physically disabled for the rest of their life)because of it.

I'm betting the village in Texas doesn't even want their idiot back by now...
