Alaskan Amber = Estrogen Ale. It's the first beer a chick usually drinks and likes. Right up there with any of the Hefeweisen's.

Life is too short to drink Estrogen Ale or beer with fruit in it. (Mexican beers with a lime are an exception to that rule.)

I prefer a beer with some flavor.

Think IPA's. Think Porter's. Think Stouts.

If you are in the UW area, stop by the BigTime and make sure you get a pint of the Decade IPA when they make it.

By far, Oregon has a lot more cooler micro breweries than WA does. I love going down PTown for a day of beer drinkin.
