A buddy of mine did bit parts in movie for a couple years and was the tall security guard that gets kicked , stabbed and killed by Cruise in the first Mission Impossible movie. He's 6'4" and I've known him my whole life. I'm short myself at 5'8" so I asked him how tall Cruise really is. They had to do the rehearsal in their socks a couple times and he said he "might" be 5'4"if he's lucky, but he saw the thick lifts he wears in his shoes.....he claims to be 5'9" !

as a shorter dude, I f'n HATE small guys with Litte Man Syndrome. .......strutting around, lying about their height, always wanting to fight...........reminds me of my 5'5" boss. Man up and be who you are. Anyway, my bud said Cruise was a complete nutjob back then too. a Megalomaniac toolbox who did not want to act with a 6'4" former model etc. After seeing his intervew during the Last Samurai press junket, I realized what a psycho he truly is......but I did like that movie.
