It always amazes me how people "confess" to stuff they never did to be a part of history. Kind of like all of the wild west outlaws that had clearly been shot to hell, and then years later....some crazy old geezer is claiming to be them.

As far as DB goes.......I think he landed in water or near a waterway either dead or dying and his remains are under a layer of sod or at the bottom. The money could have also been torn from his body during the jump. An example are the paratroopers in the Normandy invasion that had all their gear ripped from them due to the high velocity of the jump. He did pick a pretty spectacular way to commit suicide and create an enduring mystery. Personally, I hope he made it. We all like to see people get away with stuff at times.
