So the folks who call any semi automatic rifle an "assault weapon" and scare the public by sensationalizing every bad thing that happens out there? The same folks (MSNBC) who essentially lead to the downfall of Bear Stearns by spreading a rumor that caused a run on an otherwise reasonably stable financial institution? Vanity Fair article on Bear Stearns (click me) We need to shoot a few of those folks down in the street to bring them in line and actually report THE WHOLE TRUTH, not just their slant on it.

I'm not listening to them (MSM) anymore. I'll go buy another gun this week, and continue building our house just to spite them. I refuse to treat them as main stream and let them try and rule my life.

After the Indy Mac failure, this same "MSM" was reporting that the maximum FDIC insurance that you could have was $100,000 in any single institution. Anybody want to guess what the real number is, say for a husband and wife with 2 kids, with no IRA's? Wanna guess who started the "run" on that financial institution? Main stream my ass.
