When I first began fishing them we had to dig the ore, smelt it, forge it, hammer it and then find berries to make paint from. It often took three or four day to make just one.

We fished them on 50 pound test leaders to be sure we never lost one. No one flossed back then, but many had missing teeth and very bad breath.
