I'd like to see the body that was attached to the buck in the first post. I'm guessing he was a pig all around. A big cock o' the walk buck like that is gonna stink bad too. Makes me feel all warm inside.

Blacktail size, at least in WA, OR, and CA, seems to follow the typical bigger body in the north, smaller body in the south pattern. Like whitetails, the racks get smaller and the bodies get bigger as you move north in their range. At some point in their northern reaches that changes but then the subspecies issue comes into play.
