There is one guarantee: Our next president will be a lying megalomaniac who will conveniently forget 50% of the campaign trail promises he is now making. And "his side" will defend everything he does while blaming the "other side" for every failure. There will be shady associations from his past that the "other side" will try to exploit and "his side" will try feverishly to sweep them under the rug while pointing various digits at the other side.

This is politics in America. These are politicians in America. You have to possess 3 to 5 serious character flaws to even WANT that job, or any high-ranking office, in the first place. We get who we deserve. Cult of personality, fear and self-loathing. The attack ads are ridiculous, but are as funny as a SNL skit if you look through the rhetoric at the sick, childish psychological attempts to "persuade" that drive them.

Pick your puppy from a weak litter...........try to go for what you feel is the best of a poor lot. But please don't try to sell him/her as Prince Charming and the other guy as the devil incarnate. We're not that stupid. Wait..........we are...........
