Three different issues:

1. Registration fraud. This is when made up names are registered, or people register twice. Illegal, and unethical. However, when Mickey Mouse is registered, he still can't vote, because he doesn't exist. The possibility of registration fraud leading to illegal voting is almost zero. This is what ACORN is accused of.

2. Voter fraud. This is when someone who is not supposed to vote, does. Someone could steal an absentee ballot and fill it in, or have fake ID and use it to vote with someone's valid voter registration. This could skew election results, but not much...it happens on a tiny scale.

3. Election fraud. This is when the election itself is fraudulent. Black Box voting that comes up with its own numbers rather than counting actual votes, or when whole blocks of legal American voters are disenfranchised from their most American right, the right to vote. This is what the Republicans did in 2000, and in 2004, and will attempt to do again in 2008. They'll attempt it the same way they did the last two cycles...they'll try to get hundreds of thousands of legal voters disqualified from voting, or their buddies at Diebold will use illegal machines (as they did in 2004). This has a huge effect on the validity of the election.

Fish on...
