Were seeing the same thing play out in Skeena country in regard to Non residents use of the skeena and it's tributaries. Thankfully it hasn't got this heated yet. To look at it another way would we be happy as washington residents if the bulk of sport caught fish harvested in Washington were by Non Residents. I don't think we would be.

How 'bout this....

Why should we as coastal WA residents be happy about "outsiders" taking 3/4 of the harvest before "our" fish even get back to "local" waters.

Allocations and regs are so screwed up locally that the only way for WA locals to reliably catch "local" fish is to fly up to AK or BC to have a chance at 'em.

This is the monster that present day fish managers have created.... what a frickin' mess!
