Unfortunately the locations where fish wheels work - fast slots near the shoreline - have been inundated by the reservoirs upstream of the dams. Fish wheels are very location specific. You can't put one just anywhere and have it fish successfully. However, fish traps are highly effective fishing gear and offer the option of selectively harvesting certain fish while others are released.
