Cooper makes a pretty sweet mud terrain tire. It is the Discoverer STT. I was looking at Toyo and the BFG's and wound up going for the Cooper based on the recommendation of a friend. So far so good. They are quiet on the road and roll really well for an aggressive tread pattern. The price was in the same neighborhood as the others, perhaps a bit cheaper. No issues with water or mud yet and they have handled all I have thrown at them so far.


I ran 3 sets of the Toyo's then a buddy of mine suggested the Coopers as well. Great tire and great price compared to the Toyo's.. Toyo is the Nordstrom of tires, over-priced really!

I'll run the Coopers from here out, the set I have now has close to 30K on them and about 40% tread left on my 1/2 ton dodge and I never rotate my tires..... They wear perfect.....
