They are fun for "pogey" fishing contests when you are around ten years old... that's for sure. An old timer on the shore at Pt. No Point yelled to me this summer, "32!", so I asked, "32 What?". "You caught 32 bullheads in almost as many casts!" He replied... if I had known he was counting for me I would have hooked one every cast to make it more interesting for him

And BTW, we are all highly-adapted fish if you think about it, no need to get into the phylogeny of sculpins
