I normally hunt archery. The multi elk tag will allow me to apply east and hunt west if I want...but not sure I'd actually hunt west anyway. It also allows me to muzzy hunt, so maybe I'll have to pick up a muzzy. I have no desire to join the masses on the rifle elk hunts.

For deer, however, I already tag along during the modern season just to help my buddies/dad. So for sure I'd be picking up another season if I drew the multi deer. Of course, if they do away with my beloved archery Swakane late hunt like they're proposing, good chance I'll buy a modern deer tag anyway!

Either of the multi tags gives you more options. Just a matter of whether you actually will use those options.
