You are right I haven't caught many big fish but I am not jealous, I just think exaggeration is rampant these days. Some of the oldest wisest eyes I know, guys who have slayed many times more steelhead than I have caught, put most of these 25 pounders at 18 pounds. Those formulas are just a load of horseshit is what I am saying.

What would you rather catch? I legit 20 pounder or a horseshit 20 pounder? I feel like they are all awesome but I try and guide people into the reality of it because it makes the real deal that much more special. The real deal is a [censored] beast, just look at English Pete's 30 pounder. None of the supposed mid 20 steelhead I see look even a smidgen close to that thing and none of them were actually weighed unlike English-Douche-Knuckle-Pete's. Look at your 40X24 and look at Pete's.
