Beautiful cloudy, warm, showery weather, but very few March Browns, blue-winged olives or even caddis hatching on the runs I fished below Maupin.

The trout were happy to eat small nymphs -- size 14 bead-head pheasant tails -- fished in bankside current seams and below bankside rock piles.
