Hi Pat,

Is this a true john boat with almost no freeboard, about 3 feet wide, and a square bow or does it have some decent freeboard and a bit more beam? What size outboard can you use on it? My little one is a 6hp, and I have a 27 lb thrust trolling motor. Is the wood transom piece where the kicker bracket fits? Would replacing it be a project where someone with okay woodworking skills could get it done in an hour or so? "My dad has an ultimate set of tools!", actually I do. Sorry for all of the questions, but the boat and the price sounds right.

By the way, how goes the wedding plans?
