That's true but Letterman has had egg on his face for a week now and several apologies later he is still trying to dig himself out of that hole. I suppose that being neck and neck in the ratings against Conan this may be a good move temporarily but in the long run he may be chasing some viewers away.

I still can't stand Conan so I'll watch Letterman or Bill Maher. I do get a laugh out of Craig Ferguson since he is certifiably crazy (in a good way)
