I got what you were saying. My point is he shouldn't have made such an issue of it if he knew he wasn't going to, or couldn't have done anything about it. Making an issue of it, and running your campaign on that, then not following though is hypocritical. He hasn't ever offered a reason (at least that I know of) for supporting the Bush policy leaving us to debate whether he is a hypocrite or unprepared.
